Kazuyasu GOMI is President of Authense IP. He graduated from the School of Science and Engineering at Waseda University, and holds a Master of Laws from the University of Southern California in the United States. After working as an engineer at a leading construction company, he joined a major patent firm and obtained his patent attorney qualification. After 10 years of working in patent rights acquisition area, he established Hatsuna Intellectual Property Firm in 2015, and Cotobox Inc. in 2016. The online trademark platform "Cotobox" became a pioneer in the intellectual property DX business by utilizing the "System to Remove Gray Zone Areas" of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in 2018. He is engaged in providing guidance on domestic and international intellectual property rights acquisition services (trademarks, patents, and designs), as well as intellectual property management. With experience as a startup founder, he specializes in providing advice from an intellectual property perspective on areas such as market analysis, business risks, product development, and corporate value.
